About Padmé

Florida Grown, Slow Flowers

Padmé Flower Farm is a new farm in the heart of St Pete, FL in the Warehouse Arts District. We broke ground in Nov 2025, and are continuing to build out the farm as a green sanctuary in the city and a community event space.

We offer florals for events, custom bouquets, host public and private events at the farm, and are open for weekly public U-Picks!

Sign up for our mailing list below for occasional updates and opportunities to frolic on the farm together!

Meet the Farmer

IMG_5752_edited.jpg

Hi! I'm Mallika, a farmer-florist and artist.

I've been passionate about organic agriculture and worked on farms and community gardens for about 15 years. I am a folk singer and living room musician and can often be found dabbling in other creative arts.

Over the years I've worked as a grantwriter for environmental organizations, and I'm the founder of garden education nonprofit Growing Together in SF Bay Area, California, where I served as Director from 2013-2018.

I then lived in Norway where I completed a MSc in Agroecology before moving to St Pete, FL to be closer to my family. I fell in love with growing flowers about 2 years ago when I  grew a pilot flower plot 2024-2025 at Beacon Food Forest in Clearwater.

I'm so grateful to be tending the land at Padmé, sharing the beauty of nature through flowers.

I can't wait to share this magic with you! Thank you for being here!

My Commitment

Ecological

Grown by hand (no heavy machinery), without harmful pesticides or synthetic fertilizers.

We use composting, mulching, crop rotation, and other agroecological practices to keep the soil life thriving and the bees buzzing.

Safe

Sadly most flowers on the market are doused in chemicals at every stage - from growth, to harvest and storage : ( And over 80% of flowers sold in the US are imported,  primarily from South America, leaving a heavy toll on workers, ecosystems, and customers.

Padmé flowers will always be safe for you and your loved ones.

Go ahead, bury your face in lovely local blooms.

Heartfelt

Whether for your home, a celebration, or someone special, our blooms are grown and handled with love and intention.

Local = fresher higher quality blooms, grown by a real small farmer. Grocery store flowers could never!
